How Brocation makes money
Here it is, plainly. Brocation is free to read and free to use. The site earns money through affiliate commissions.
When you click a link on this site and book something, a house, a tee time, a charter, tickets, the company you booked with pays Brocation a commission. That is the entire business model.
Two things that will never change. First, commission never decides what gets recommended. A destination is on this site because it is the right call for your group, not because it pays more. If a place is wrong for you, the site says so. Second, booking through these links costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same price you would pay booking direct.
The partners that actually pay the commission today are Stay22, which powers the lodging links and the stay maps on destination pages and routes the booking to sites including Booking.com, Expedia and Hotels.com, and Viator, a Tripadvisor company, which handles the activity and tour links.
That is the deal. You get honest recommendations, the partners handle the booking, and Brocation keeps the lights on.
