What a Scottsdale bachelor party actually costs

Updated September 2026

$1,090 to $2,048 a man for three nights with twelve guys, before flights. Add about $399 for a round trip into Phoenix Sky Harbor, twenty five minutes from Old Town, and you get $1,489 to $2,447 all in. Scottsdale has the most violent seasonal swing of any destination in this guide, and once you understand it the rest of the budget follows.

The same round of golf costs $310 or $550 depending on the month

At TPC Scottsdale the Stadium Course runs $550 at peak time of day in the weeks after the Phoenix Open, or $436 if you take an early morning or a tee time after 2pm. From May onward it is $303 to $319 all day.

That is the single largest activity cost anywhere in this guide, and it is also the cleanest example of what season does to a bachelor party budget. Twelve guys playing the Stadium Course in February at prime time is $6,600. The same twelve in July is $3,720.

The federal government agrees, and it published the numbers

The GSA lodging per diem for Maricopa County moves like this across the year: $160 in October through January, $229 in February and March, $161 in April and May, and $113 from June through August.

That is a 2.03x swing, from a government source, on the same room. Layer the local premiums on top and it gets worse. Barrett-Jackson in late January adds 15 to 30 percent to rentals. The WM Phoenix Open in early February runs 30 to 50 percent above a January baseline that is already the annual high.

Summer is the value window and almost nobody says so honestly

June through August in Scottsdale is over 100F. That is the real reason the price collapses.

But the trip is golf, and golf in Scottsdale in summer means teeing off early or after 4pm, which is what the courses themselves recommend. If your group can accept a dawn tee time and an afternoon at the pool, you get a 51 percent discount on lodging and roughly $240 a man off the golf. That is close to $1,000 a head against the same trip in February.

It is not for everyone. It is a genuine option and every other guide pretends it does not exist.

Book the van as a package, not by the hour

Scottsdale is the one destination here where a chauffeured vehicle is clearly worth it, because the itinerary is a golf course, Old Town and possibly a lake, none of which are near each other.

Local operators sell unlimited weekend packages: about $1,600 for two days, $2,000 for three, $2,400 for four, on a sprinter holding up to fourteen. At twelve guys the three day package is $167 each for the whole weekend.

Hourly runs $165 to $190 midweek and $180 to $470 on a Friday or Saturday. The flat package wins the moment you pass about eleven chauffeured hours across the weekend, which any golf plus Old Town itinerary does before Saturday night.
