The verdict
Vegas works because it removes every decision that kills a group trip. Flights are cheap from everywhere, the hotel is the venue, and nobody needs a car. Eight guys can land at different times, find each other at a blackjack table, and the weekend runs itself. If half your group has never met the other half, this is the safest booking on this site.
It is the wrong call if your group wants an actual experience rather than a backdrop. Vegas is expensive in a way that sneaks up on you: the room is $180 and the weekend is $1,600. Guys who do not gamble and do not go to clubs will spend three days in a hallway. And if two of you have already done twelve of these, book Scottsdale instead.

Where to stay
The Venetian
Every room is a suite with a sunken living room, so four guys in one room is not a punishment. Center Strip, so you walk everywhere.
Book itCaesars Palace
Book two Julius Tower rooms and one Palace suite. The pool complex is the best on the Strip for a daytime group.
Book itA Summerlin house on Vrbo
Twenty minutes off the Strip, pool and a backyard, and roughly half the nightly cost of sixteen guys in hotel rooms. You give up walkability and gain sanity.
Book itYou probably do not want a group rate
The Strip treats you as a group at ten rooms. Caesars publishes that number and MGM defines a qualifying group the same way. The Venetian sets its own bar higher at twenty suites.
Most bachelor parties never get there. Rooms cap at four guests, so twelve guys is three to six rooms depending on how much you like each other. You are not a group. You are six bookings.
That is usually the better outcome. A group block is a signed contract with a cutoff date, a deposit, and an attrition clause, which means you pay for rooms you blocked and did not fill. None of the big Strip operators publish their attrition percentage. Typical hotel contract language runs 80 to 90 percent of the block. Individual bookings float with the market and cancel free.
The group rate wins when room rates rise after you sign. It loses when your headcount shrinks, which on a bachelor party is the way it usually goes.
What the room actually costs
Whichever way you book, add a resort fee of $45 to $55 per room per night plus tax. Wynn, the Venetian, Bellagio, Aria, the Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace and Fontainebleau sit at the top of that band. Excalibur, Luxor, New York-New York and Circus Circus sit at the bottom. Casino Royale is the only property on the Strip charging nothing.
Resort fees are almost never waived for a social block. Rio dropped them for group business in June 2026 and stated no other Las Vegas property offers the same, but Rio is off Strip and the waiver may be limited to Sunday through Thursday check-ins, so confirm that before you plan around it.
Watch the occupancy charge too. The Venetian caps a suite at four guests and adds $50 to the nightly rate for each guest beyond two. Cramming six into a room to save money usually does not.
One thing that catches groups at the desk: every guest checking in must be 21 with government photo ID and a credit card, and the person holding the reservation must be 21. A twenty year old groomsman cannot hold a room. Figures checked September 2026.

Worth timing the trip around
The things that come back every year and change the price of the weekend. Pick your dates around one of these on purpose.
UFC International Fight Week
The biggest card of the year, a fan expo, and every sportsbook packed wall to wall. Rooms jump $80 a night, so book this weekend on purpose or not at all.
Las Vegas Grand Prix
F1 cars down the Strip at night. Grandstand seats are serious money, but the whole city turns into the race. Great weekend to go, terrible weekend to get a table anywhere you did not plan.
National Finals Rodeo
Ten nights, 170,000 people in cowboy hats, and every steakhouse on the Strip full of them. Rooms are cheap because it is December, and the city is more fun than it has any right to be.

Tours and activities in Las Vegas sell out for groups, so book the ones you care about before you fly.
Browse Las Vegas on ViatorThe table costs less than the card says
That $1,000 is Encore Beach Club, the most expensive door on the Strip. Most of it is not that. Daybed minimums run around $200 at Drai's Beachclub, $250 at Daylight, $350 at Liquid in Aria, and $500 at TAO Beach and Marquee. Split eight ways, a $300 daybed is under forty dollars a head.
A minimum is also not a cover. It is a floor on what you spend at the table, on drinks and bottles you were buying anyway. General admission money just disappears. The minimum is money you drink.
The list, and the cutoff nobody reads
The biggest saving at any dayclub is the guest list, and it costs nothing. On non-holiday Fridays and Sundays men are often free or heavily reduced. Saturday gets you a discount, never free.
The catch is the clock. Guest list cutoff is usually one or two in the afternoon. Roll up at three on a Saturday with eight guys and no plan and you pay the ceiling, thirty to seventy five dollars each just to walk in, more on a holiday weekend or a headliner day.
Friday is the cheapest day to do this. Saturday is the most expensive by some distance, and it is the day every group picks.
Getting around
Do not rent a car if you are staying on the Strip. Parking is $25 a day, traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard is worse than it looks, and everything is a $12 rideshare. If you booked a house in Summerlin or Henderson, get one SUV for the group and designate a driver each night.
The one thing people screw up
Sunday morning checkout at 11 puts your entire group in the rideshare queue at the same time as the rest of the Strip, and the Venetian pickup garage adds twenty minutes on its own. Book one airport van the night before for a fixed price, or move checkout to 1pm with a late fee that costs less than the surge.
Cost per head, 3 nights, no flights
Per head, based on eight guys on a three night trip. It is a range because a trip is a range.
