What a Las Vegas bachelor party actually costs

$884 to $2,231 a man for three nights with twelve guys, before flights. Add about $325 for a round trip into LAS, the cheapest flight of any destination in this guide, and you get $1,209 to $2,556 all in. The spread here is wider than anywhere else, and it comes down to three things.

The room rate is not the room rate
Vegas is the only destination in this guide where the advertised price is systematically not what you pay.
Resort fees run $35 to $55 a night depending on the property, before tax, and they are charged whether or not you use a single thing they cover. Fontainebleau is $55. Wynn, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan and Aria are $51. Caesars Palace and the Venetian are $50. MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay and Paris are $45. Luxor and Excalibur are $39. Circus Circus and the STRAT are $35.
Then Clark County adds 13.38 percent lodging tax on the whole thing.
So a $150 room at a property with a $39 resort fee is $214 a night by the time it is charged. That is the number to budget, not the one in the search result. A handful of properties charge no resort fee at all, including Four Seasons, South Point and The Orleans.
Do not plan on a house
Vegas is a hotel city, not a rental city, and that gap is widening.
Clark County commissioners approved an ordinance on 18 August 2026 requiring Airbnb and Vrbo to verify licensing before processing payments and to display licence details on listings. A separate court case over the county's licensing and penalty rules is still under appeal. Large whole home rentals near the Strip were already thin, and this is not moving in a direction that helps you.
Book connecting rooms or a suite. If someone in your group is holding out for a twelve bedroom house with a pool, that plan needs to die early rather than in week three.
At twelve guys you need a cabana, not a daybed
This is where the high column comes from.
General admission is $20 to $75 a head depending on the venue, the day and whether you are on a guest list. That is the $50 line in the table and it is a perfectly good trip.
Daybeds carry minimum spends, typically $200 to $1,500 depending on venue and day, and they seat far fewer people than twelve. For a group your size the real unit is a cabana. A weekday cabana at Encore Beach Club starts around $2,000, which is $167 a man. A Saturday cabana runs about $4,000, which is $333 a man. Add 20 to 25 percent service charge on top of the minimum, which is how $4,000 becomes $4,880 and $333 becomes $407.
The minimum is a spend floor on drinks and food, not a cover charge. You are buying the right to spend it, not spending it on top.
The weeks that triple the rate
Vegas prices are demand driven to a degree no other city here matches. Convention weeks can run three to five times a normal rate.
The ones that matter: CES in early January, which is 180,000 people and the single worst week of the year to visit for any other reason. SEMA in early November, about 160,000. MAGIC in February and NAB in April are both large enough to move rates. AWS re:Invent at the very start of December sells rooms out within weeks of registration opening. Formula 1 in November and the National Finals Rodeo in December are both major spikes.
The federal lodging per diem tells the same story more quietly: $126 a night for most of the year, $159 from January through March.
